Tulsa Police Officer Involved In Injury Crash

A Tulsa Police officer and another driver were taken to the hospital after a collision outside an apartment complex late Wednesday.

Authorities say the officer was responding to a report of a suicidal subject at the Silver Springs Apartments in the 8500 block of East 61st Street. When she pulled out of the parking lot onto 61st to go around to the back of the complex, she was hit by a woman driving eastbound.

There was damage to both cars, and both women were taken to local hospitals. They're expected to be OK.
