Sapulpa Firefighters responded to a house fire early Sunday morning and are investigating its cause. Battalion Chief Kyle Zickefoose said the 911 call came in around 7 a.m. to a home on East Jackson near North Main Street.
When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames showing at the home. They got the fire under control within about 15 minutes, he said.
No one was in the residence when crews got to the scene, but Zickefoose told News On 6 the burn pattern where the fire started gives them reason to think the fire might be suspicious.
