Police chased a stolen vehicle suspect into the Million Dollar Elm Casino in north Tulsa Tuesday night.
Officers said it started when a person saw his pickup, that was stolen in February, and confronted the driver. During the confrontation, the victim said he believed the driver pulled a gun on him before driving away.
According to police, officers caught up with the driver, Michael Bledsoe, 39, on Highway 11 and tried to pull him over, but he didn't stop and a chase began.
Police said Bledsoe drove to the Osage Casino in the 900 block of West 36th Street North, and attempted to run inside. They said Bledsoe was tackled by officers, just inside the casino's main doors and taken into custody after a short scuffle that left an officer injured with cuts to his hands and face.
Inside the pickup, police said they found a stolen, loaded handgun.
Michael Bledsoe was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints including eluding, possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting arrest, possession of firearm during a felony and driving under suspension.
Jail records show Bledsoe has a March 15 court appearance set.
