Allegiant Air will be adding a new route this summer between Tulsa and New Orleans.
The low cost airline announced Tuesday it is adding 22 new routes nationwide for summer beginning in May.
"Expanding to new cities and offering new routes is a great way for us to grow our brand of convenient, low-cost travel for millions of travelers. This year we wanted to go above and beyond for our passengers," said Jude Bricker, Allegiant chief operating officer.
Allegiant Air says the non-stop route between Tulsa and New Orleans' Louis Armstrong International Airport begins May 26 and ends October 16.
Allegiant is also adding a new route for Oklahoma City. The airline says non-stop service to Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport from Oklahoma City will begin May 26 and will end on August 15.
The airline says the seasonal flights will be twice weekly.
