Travelers who use Tulsa International Airport will have the opportunity to apply for the Transportation Security Administration’s Pre Check program.
The TSA Pre Check temporary enrollment center will be open Monday, March 21 through Friday, March 25, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the airport terminal, next to the Cherry Street Travel Mart.
The TSA Pre Check is an expedited screening program that allows enrolled travelers to leave on their shoes, light outerwear and belt and keep their laptop in its case and their 3-1-1 compliant liquids/gels bag in a carry-on, in select TSA airport checkpoint screening lanes.
Tulsa International is one of more than 160 airports with TSA Pre Check lanes. Thirteen airlines participate in the program: Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, One Jet, Southwest Airlines, Sun Country, United Airlines, WestJet, Virgin America and Air Canada.
To participate, travelers are encouraged to make an appointment and pre-enroll be clicking this link.
Walk-ins will be accepted on a space-available basis. Enrollees will need to bring documentation proving identity and citizenship status. The application fee is $85 and is good for five years. It can be paid at the time of your appointment by credit card, money order, company check, or certified/cashier’s check.
Cash and personal checks are not accepted. Fingerprints also are required during the in-person enrollment session.
