It's Super Tuesday Eve, and everyone's gearing up for the Presidential primary, including some students at Hale High school who have already voted.

In Emily Durbin’s 11th grade American History class, they are holding a mock election; the first step in the process is to register.

"You have three options. Your first option is to check the box that says Democrat," Durbin explained they could also check Republican or register as an Independent.

Once everyone filled out the registration form, it was down the stairs and around the corner to the polling place…also known as the cafeteria.

Once there, it was time for a little pat on the back.

"We are the only, if not one of the only, schools in the district to give you the opportunity to do a mock election,” said assistant principal, Nate Morris.

Next up for the students came the voting. They lined up at the tables where some seniors were stationed to help out.

They showed their card, got the appropriate ballot and took it to the polling station to actually vote. They even got ‘I Voted’ stickers when they finished.

Three members of the class are old enough to actually vote on Super Tuesday, so they said it was good practice.

For the mock election, Bernie Sanders won for the Democrats and Donald Trump won for the Republican side. He was followed by Marco Rubio and Ben Carson.
