Tulsa Police Arrest Woman Suspected Of Stealing Van

A short Tulsa police pursuit ended in a QuikTrip parking lot across from the University of Tulsa. Authorities say a woman is in custody on suspicion of stealing a van.

Police tell News On 6 someone in the 800 block of North Sandusky started their van and left it running to warm up Monday morning. That's when the woman jumped in and drove away, according to police.

A police officer spotted the vehicle and - after a short pursuit - pulled the driver over at the QT across from TU. The woman is now in custody and is going to jail.

Police asked the victim to come jump start the van because the battery died.
