Po Boy Sandwich
Ingredients:
1- 6 inch French Roll, Toasted
2-3oz. Fillets of Beer Battered Cod
Sliced Tomato
Creole Sauce
Directions:
Heat oil in a pot to 350 degrees
Coat the fish in flour, shake off excess flour
Dip the fish in batter
Fry the fish until crispy and golden brown, about 4-5minutes
Place sliced tomatoes on the bottom roll
Place fish on the tomatoes
Top the fish with plenty of creole sauce
Finish the sandwich with shredded lettuce and the top roll
Creole Sauce
Ingredients:
1 Cup Mayonnaise
2/3 cup Ketchup
4 Tablespoons Horseradish
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
Tabasco Sauce to taste
Beer Batter
Ingredients:
12oz Bottle of beer
2 cups of sifted all purpose flour
2 teaspoons salt
Directions:
Pour the beer in a bowl
Add flour and salt
Wisk until just combined
