Turley Area Grass Fire Under Control

Firefighters say an early Friday morning grass fire near Martin Luther King Boulevard and 66th Street North is now under control. 

Crews from Tulsa, Turley and Sperry fire departments were called to the fire at about 2 a.m.  

Firefighters said they were able knock the fire down quickly, stopping it from spreading northward.  

No structures were threatened and there no reports of anyone being injured.
