Grass Fires Burn Across Osage County Prairie

Grass fires are spreading across Osage County on Thursday.

The Osage County Sheriff's Department says a large fire is west of Pawhuska on County Road 5902 and is expected to cross Highway 60.

There are no injuries or evacuations reported at this time. However, officials say there are homes in the path and people in that area are advised to take precautions just in case.

On the east side of Barnsdall, a sizable grass fire is burning, and two more fires are in the Hominy area.
