Police arrested a Tulsa teen they've been looking for on a robbery by force warrant since May of last year.
According to an affidavit, police say Denney Itavious, 19, stole an envelope containing $4,000 from a man who had just withdrawn the money from a Tulsa bank in the 3100 block of South Garnett on May 8, 2015.
The victim told police he was walking to his car when the teen snatched the envelope from the victim's hand and took off.
In the affidavit, police said bank employees recognized Itavious in a surveillance video as a customer who had just been at the same bank.
Police went to Itavious' grandmother home who said the teen had given her $2,000 and told her he had "done something wrong." She told officers, Itavious had admitted to "robbing an old man."
The grandmother told police she gave the $2,000 to Itavious' mom and told her to call police, which didn't happen.
Police say so far, none of the $4,000 has been recovered.
