Tulsa Deputies Recover Stolen Car, Arrest Juvenile Driver For DUI

Sheriff's deputies arrested a juvenile they say was driving a stolen vehicle while intoxicated in midtown Tulsa late Friday.  

Deputies said shortly before 11 p.m. a deputy noticed a car headed north on Sheridan at 4th Street hit a curb, so they attempted a traffic stop.  The Lincoln sped off heading west on 7th Street.

After a short chase, the sheriff's office said the car went across a front yard near Lakewood and struck a parked SUV.  

Deputies said the juvenile got out and ran but was quickly caught. They said the suspect was detained on complaints of DUI and possession of a stolen vehicle.
