Sand Springs Mobile Home Burns

Fire heavily damaged a Sand Springs mobile home fire Friday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the Sunburst Mobile Home Park near West 41st Street South and South 129th West Avenue. 

They say a woman and her elderly mother live in the home and usually the mother is there alone all day. Luckily, thanks to a doctor's appointment, she and her daughter were not at the home when flames broke out.

No word yet on what caused the fire.

Meanwhile, firefighters from Sand Springs and Sapulpa are battling several grass fires in the area of West 71st Street South and South 129th West Avenue.
