Two people were hurt in a crash near Owasso on Saturday. Emergency crews responded to the wreck at 106th Street North and U.S. Highway 75.
The injury crash took place around 11:15 a.m. on northbound Highway 75. Both drivers were hurt when two convertibles collided.
Troopers say an elderly man driving this white Mustang convertible was trying to get across the highway, when a silver BMW headed north t-boned him.
Troopers say the crash happened fast, and don't believe the driver of the BMW saw the Mustang until it was too late.
Both drivers were taken to a hospital, and the driver of the Mustang was said to be in serious condition.
As troopers were cleaning up the wreck and traffic was narrowed to one lane, drivers slowing down to pass caused the second wreck.
No one was hurt in either vehicle in the secondary crash. The cars appeared to be totaled and leaked fluids onto the roadway.
Troopers say both crashes likely happened because drivers weren't paying attention.
