The longest road trip in the Big 12 for the Cowboys is this weekend in Morgantown to play West Virginia, a team that leads the league in rebounding and is a top 25 program.
The Cowboys are coming off a loss Tuesday night at Baylor, a game in which they were outrebounded 44 to 18. They made a nice rally in the second half to cut it within three after trailing by 18 but ended up losing 79-62.
OSU will be a little short-handed this trip, as Tyreek Griffin, the backup point guard, didn’t make it after suffering an injury in practice.
Anthony Allen, the big man is not in Morgantown either. Violation of team rules is keeping him away from this particular matchup.
The Cowboys are 1-1 in Big 12 play, and after this, it's back home for Bedlam Round 1 on Wednesday night in Gallagher-Iba Arena with the Oklahoma Sooners. This one a tough task for a short-handed OSU team. Tip-off is set for noon on Saturday.
