Claremore FOP Serves Meals To Senior Citizens

Police in Claremore are getting into the holiday spirit by giving back to senior citizens.

Members of Claremore's Fraternal Order of Police armed themselves with hair nets and spoons as they served meals at the senior citizen center in Claremore.

The FOP says it chose the senior center because it wanted to give back to a group that sometimes is overlooked.

"It’s just kind of a nice way for them to see us as human beings and just regular guys, not in uniform,” Lt. Matt Wild said. “Just as citizens with them, you know."

This is the first year CPD has teamed up with the senior center.
