A jury convicted a Tulsa man of murder Thursday night.

Jurors found Isaac Ashton guilty on two counts of first-degree murder and recommended he spend life in prison without parole on both charges.

Ashton shot Verdell Walker and Tiara Sawyer at the Oak Park Townhomes in August 2014.

It was one of the first cases that involved one of the suspects being featured on the A&E crime show First 48.
