Restoration is all about making old things look new again, which is exactly what one father son team in Fort Gibson is doing to a Bible from 1640.
When we got there, the Bible looked as new as it can on the outside and the inside had been repaired or protected as much as possible.
Zbigniew Niebieszczanski and his son Artur showed us a picture of what it looked like before…it wasn’t very pretty.
The house is full of giant machines they’ve accumulated in more than 40 years doing this work and they move from room to room depending on the process needed for restoration.
They said it’s a wonderful calling to breathe new life into the aging treasures.
