Woman Injured In Afternoon Stabbing At Tulsa Motel 6, Police Say

A woman has been taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries after she was stabbed at a Tulsa Motel 6, police say.

According to investigators, a man knocked on her motel door on Skelly Drive about 1:30 p.m. Police said that when she opened the door, the man stabbed her, pushed her inside and then robbed her.

The man left the motel, and the woman was able to make it to the lobby and call 911, police said.

EMSA transported the woman to the hospital.

The Tulsa Police Department said it couldn't disclose her injuries, but they did say the wounds are not life-threatening.

Investigators said they don’t know of the connection between the two people or if there is one.
