Police: Armed Robbers Take Cash Register From Tulsa Restaurant

Tulsa police are searching for two armed robbers that took the cash register from a Tulsa restaurant.

According to Sergeant Kurt Dodd, TPD received an armed robbery call just before 9:00 Monday night at the El Rio Verde restaurant at 38 North Trenton Avenue.

Witnesses said two men entered the restaurant, told people to get down and demanded money. They said the two men left with the entire cash register.

Dodd said they are working with a vague description, but witnesses said they believe the subjects are two black males around 5-feet-10-inches tall and between 170 and 190 pounds.

According to police, one man wore a dark colored jacket covering his face and gardening gloves.

No one was injured during the robbery.
