The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office says three teens missing since Sunday afternoon have been found safe.
After nearly 18 hours of searching, the three missing boys were found safe west of Porter Monday morning. The three arrived at the Porter Fire Department around 8:30 a.m.
Cody Anderson,16 and Christopher Overbay, 15, both from Porter and 14-year-old Zachary Dubay of Claremore were dropped by a neighbor who found them along some railroad tracks about 10 miles west of Porter.
Cody says they set up a tent at one of their relatives houses to camp. They then started doing some live action role play and got lost. They said their phones had died, so they couldn't contact anyone. They used some blankets they had with them to keep warm.
Law enforcement, emergency management and family members searched late Sunday and resumed the search Monday morning.
When Cody returned home he was greeted by his parents, who's dad said he was very happy he was okay.
"I'm just glad he's home now. I'm just glad that Wagoner County searched last night." said Dennis Anderson.
Cody and the other two boys say they've learned a lesson from this and will never walk off again.
