Water Line Work Closes Owasso Elementary School

Emergency repairs to a water line prompted the closure of an Owasso elementary school Friday.  

The school district says Barnes Elementary School in the 7800 block of East 76th Street North was closed Friday morning due to the lack of water. 

The City of Owasso says the line in question is operated by Washington County Rural Water District #3. The school was the only customer affected.

The district said it repaired the line and started flushing it at about 11 a.m.
