TCC's Aviation Science Program Moving Into Jones Riverside Airport

Tulsa Community College's Aviation Science program is finally getting a building of its own.

The program is operating out of Tulsa International Airport and the Jenks Airport, but now, renovation is almost finished on the new TCC Aviation Center at Jones Riverside Airport.

The new center will house TCC's fleet of aircraft.

It will also have an air traffic control simulator and a full-motion flight training simulator along with classrooms.

Assistant Chief Flight Instructor Esteban Aldarondo said, "We love the facility. We're thrilled to be here and we hope to continue to offer the kinds of programs we have already been offering and more in the future for our students out of this building."

TCC said the new center will prepare Tulsa students for jobs in various aviation-related career fields.
