Bishop Kelley graduate Dallas Keuchel of the Houston Astros was named the winner of the 2015 Warren Spahn Award. It's presented annually to the best left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball.
The prestigious award is based on a pitcher's wins, strikeouts and earned run average and is named after Oklahoman and National Baseball Hall of Famer Warren Spahn, who holds the MLB records of 363 wins as a lefty.
Keuchel posted 20 wins, a 2.48 ERA and 216 strikeouts. He pitched 232 innings for the Astros.
