Car Crash Knocks Out Power To Tulsa Neighborhood

Police say a car crashed into power pole Monday night, knocking out power to Tulsa a neighborhood.

Officers say the crash happened at about 10:45 p.m. at 15th and Delaware. The power outage stretched from 11th to 21st Street and from Delaware to Harvard. Public Service Company of Oklahoma workers had to replace the damaged pole before restoring power.

At the height of the outage, PSO says about 1,400 customers were without power. PSO says its crew restored all power by 6 a.m.

Police said the driver of the car was not seriously injured.
