Police say a man was taken to the Tulsa hospital after he was stabbed during a robbery early Friday.
Officers say they were called to South 129th Avenue near Interstate-44 at about 2 a.m. Police said the victim told officers he and friend accepted a ride from a man they had met at a nearby bar. During the ride, the victim said the man pulled into a parking lot on 129th East Avenue, pulled a knife and demanded money.
During a struggle with the driver, the victim said he was stabbed several times and his wallet taken. Both the victim and his friend then jumped out of the car and flagged down a security guard who called police.
Police said the stab wounds were non-life threatening.
