Six Arrested For Counterfeit Money Charges In Bartlesville

Bartlesville Police arrested six people connected to a counterfeit money operation.

According to reports, over the past month, the department has received several complaints about counterfeit $20 bills being passed through town.

Sunday, October 18, 2015, police said they received a call from a Sonic regarding a fake $20 bill.

Police said, when they arrived, they found the white mini-van described as the suspect vehicle and pulled it over. They said the driver, 37-year-old Micca Nicole Waite, was arrested for driving under suspension and the passenger, 27-year-old Rocky Balboa Lowe, was arrested for passing a counterfeit document and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Through an investigation, detectives said they were able to connect Waite and Lowe to a residence in the 1000 block of Southwest Jennings and served a search warrant Monday morning. Police said they found stolen identification, printed counterfeit money, printers and computers.

Police said they arrested Charles Ray McCarty Jr, 42; Jeremy Deleon Jackson, 30; Nancy Maxine Marie McClure, 29; and Melanie Ashley Ciana DeBroeck, 25 for possession of forged documents, conspiracy, engaging in criminal activity and possession of stolen property.

According to the report, police said they believe they had been working for a long time and are also responsible for some thefts in the area.
