The City of Bartlesville is preparing to begin construction of a Public Safety Complex, with bids scheduled to be received next month.
Voters approved the the project in a 2012 bond election. It will be located on the northwest corner of Adams Boulevard and Johnstone Avenue.
The project, which is expected to cost $6 million, will include renovation of Bartlesville's main fire station and the building of a new police station next door.
Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2016 with work to be completed 12 months later.
