Broken Arrow Police say a man ordered an illegal drug to be delivered to his residence, but his plan went wrong when the package was delivered to the wrong house.
Andrew David Wise was booked on a felony complaint of endeavoring to possess a controlled substance.
Authorities say someone called in to report a suspicious package that had been delivered to their home in the 600 block of South Aspen. The package reportedly contained a bottle of syrup that tested positive for THC, the active ingredient in marijuana.
A BAPD sergeant was investigating the incident when he noticed a man getting out of a car and checking several mailboxes in the neighborhood. The sergeant spoke to the driver, Andrew Wise, who admitted to ordering the syrup, an arrest report states.
Wise, 19, told the officer he'd tracked the package online and found out it had been delivered. Since it hadn't arrived at his address, he began checking mailboxes in his neighborhood, according to police.
The teen also reportedly told police he'd order the syrup because he thought it would be cheaper than buying marijuana to smoke.
