Eleven World War II and Korean War veterans are in Washington D.C., touring the national war memorials.
The Cherokee Nation Warrior Flight flew them there Monday morning.
The veterans got to bring their families along for the three-day trip.
The Cherokee Nation said the all-expense paid trip is similar to the Honor Flights Program. They said it's the tribe's way of honoring their veterans for their service.
"It's a honor to be associated with my older brothers and the rest of the veterans that are going," veteran Dan Hembree said.
It’s the second Cherokee Nation Warrior Flight.
