Police believe the firing of a shotgun at a Tulsa home early Monday was a random act and not intentional.

Officers said two people were in bed at 12:20 a.m. in the home at East 44th Place North and Delaware when someone fired the gun.

They said the shotgun blast went through a back wall and the kitchen before lodging in a wall on the front of the home.

Police found evidence the shotgun was fired from the back yard of another home. They continue to investigate.
