Tulsa police are investigating an armed robbery that turned into a shots fired at a bakery on 11th Street, officers say.
Two people with their faces covered walked into The La Sonrisa, located near 11th Street and Lewis, and pulled a pistol on employees, TPD says. They were able to get away with cash, but as they were leaving, employees said they fired three shots at them.
No one was hit by gunfire, but the bullets struck a counter and a window.
They got away in a dark, late-model Dodge Avenger, police said.
