American Airlines Jet Makes Emergency Landing In Tulsa

An American Airlines flight from Dallas to St. Louis made an emergency landing in Tulsa Wednesday evening after the pilot reported smoke in the cockpit.

An American Airlines flight from Dallas to St. Louis made an emergency landing in Tulsa Wednesday evening after the pilot reported smoke in the cockpit.

The MD-80 landed at Tulsa International Airport just after 9 p.m. Flight 1010 had left Dallas-Fort Worth International at 8:09 p.m.

After emergency crews checked out the airplane, the flight took off for St. Louis just before 10:30 p.m. arriving at Lambert Field in St. Louis at 11:27 p.m.
