Woman Wrecks Swerving To Avoid Debris In Tulsa Highway

A woman was taken to the hospital after a Monday morning wreck on Interstate 44. Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck which took place shortly after 11 a.m.

The woman was eastbound on the highway just west of the Interstate 244 split when she swerved to avoid debris in the road, OHP told News On 6. Her SUV overturned.

The woman was complaining of back pain and was taken to the hospital to be checked out. 

Tulsa firefighters and Tulsa County Sheriff's Office also responded to the wreck, closing down on lane until the accident could be cleared.
