City Begins Narrowing Down Vision Sales Tax Ideas

The city of Tulsa has plenty of ideas for the next vision sales tax, and now those ideas have to be whittled down.

The process for taking in new ideas ended Tuesday night, all of them focused on how to spend a portion of the sales tax.

It's going to be on the ballot next spring.

Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett said, “They'll be in three general areas, public safety, water in the river and quality of life, economic development projects, and it's that last category where we've spent the last few months.”
