Last Day For Oklahomans To Register For FEMA Disaster Assistance

Wednesday is the last day Oklahomans who suffered damaged from storms between May 5 and June 22 to apply for state and federal disaster assistance.

Wednesday is the last day Oklahomans who suffered damaged from storms between May 5 and June 22 to apply for state and federal disaster assistance.

Designated counties in eastern Oklahoma include Adair, Cherokee, Delaware, Latimer, LeFlore, Mayes, McCurtain, McIntosh, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Ottawa, Pittsburg, Rogers, Tulsa and Wagoner. 

FEMA says residents and business owners in those counties have until Wednesday to seek FEMA and SBA assistance.

FEMA says too date, more than $47.5 million has been provided to Oklahoma disaster survivors. 

There are several ways to register for assistance. Call FEMA at 800-621-3362 or go online to www.Disaster Assistance.gov.
