Tulsa Man Creates 'Hillbilly Lawnmower'

Jeff Mickle says the inspiration for his "hillbilly lawnmower," as he calls it, came when he was in a hurry to get to the lake.

He needed to mow his lawn at his Tulsa home but didn't have time to do it the regular way, by walking behind the push mower. That's when he remembered the electric unicycle he'd bought off the internet. 

He used it to mow his lawn in record time and then headed to the lake, leaving his neighbors in awe. 

Mickle said he'd bought the unicycle on the internet just to have fun, never dreaming that he'd actually find a practical use for it. Appearing on 6 In The Morning on Tuesday, August 25, 2015, he told LeAnne Taylor that he likes to tinker with things so it was only natural for him to put the lawnmower and unicycle together.

"Anything with fun I'm probably in it," he told her.
