Alcohol Use Suspected In Osage County Crash

A Fairfax man was flown to a Tulsa hospital early Tuesday after crashing his car on an Osage County road according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Mike Mashburn, 51, was southbound on Greyhouse Road when he failed to negotiate a curve north of Highway 20 and east of Fairfax just after 4:30 a.m. 

The trooper's report stated Mashburn, who was not using his seat belt, had an odor of alcohol and was traveling too fast at the time. 

The OHP says the 2005 Honda ran off the road, struck a culvert and rolled coming to rest on its wheels.
