Rogers County Investigators Arrest Man For Lewd Proposals With Minor

Rogers County investigators arrested a man Monday evening for lewd proposals with a minor.

According to investigators, 22-year-old Dakota Dear sent sexually explicit pictures and was having sexual conversations with a 15 year old through Facebook.

Reports say Dear was going by the name Steven Conner.

Investigators said they began using the minor’s Facebook to message Dear and set up a meeting at the Taco Bueno in Catoosa.

According to reports, when Dear arrived he was detained and arrested.

Dear told investigators that he thought the girl was 16. He also admitted to sending explicit pictures and was meeting her to have sex.

Records show he was arrested on complaints of facilitating sexual conduct with a minor and lewd or indecent proposals/acts to a child.
