Volunteers Fill Backpacks With School Supplies For Children In Need

Families across Green Country are starting their back-to-school shopping, but many parents struggle to afford new school supplies for their children.

The Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors held a Backpack Stuffing Day on Friday.

Volunteers filled 350 backpacks today with new school supplies, a new school uniform, shoes, socks, shampoo, toothpaste and more.

Each pack cost about $75.
