Thousands Expected for Tulsa's Center Of The Universe Festival

The Center of the Universe Festival gets underway Friday evening in Tulsa's Brady District  

The annual two day event will feature more than 100 bands and is expected to attract thousands of fans to downtown Tulsa.

The stages, tents and numerous concession stands have shut down a number of streets.  Center of the Universe Festival organizers suggest fans consider taking the Martin Luther King Boulevard exit off the north side of the IDL or the 7th Street exit on the west side of the IDL.  

The festival says fans have several options when it comes to parking.
