A 55-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a car on Highway 66 near Foyil early Thursday according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Troopers said they got a call from a driver at about 4 a.m. who said he had hit a man walking in the westbound lanes in Rogers County. The driver said initially he thought he had hit a deer, but after he stopped he found a man lying on the side of the road.
The impact damaged the 2010 Ford sedan.
