Oral Roberts University women's basketball players, Dorottya Balla and Fruzsina Fejes, have been selected to represent Hungary in the 2015 World University Games in Gwangju, South Korea.

Balla finished her sophomore season with the Golden Eagles and is from Pecs, Hungary, while Fruzsina signed her National Letter of Intent in November and enrolled in classes at ORU during the spring semester. Fruzsina is a native of Miskolc, Hungary.

Both Balla and Fruzsina earned a spot on the Hungarian University World team this week and will represent their country on the hardwood when women's basketball action begins Sunday, July 5.

Hungary will compete in Group A of the round robin format along with Canada, South Korea and Mozambique. With four groups, the winners of each group will advance to the quarterfinal round of tournament play concluding with the medal rounds July 12 and 13.

Balla started in 30 games for ORU in 2014-15 and averaged 8.5 points per game while leading the Golden Eagles from behind the three-point line at 30 percent. She was also one of the best free throw shooters in The Summit League finishing at 82.8 percent on the season.

Fruzsina made her way to ORU during the spring semester after winning a national championship with her 18-under team in Hungary. She was also named team MVP in 2011 and 2012 and helped the Hungarian national team to a second place finish in the European B-Division Championships.

The United States will compete in Group B with Italy, Czech Republic and China and features a number of former opponents for the Golden Eagles. Tennessee standout Diamond DeShields and Baylor star, Nina Davis lead the USA roster into the games.
