Rogers County prosecutors charged three members of one family with crimes connected to a hit and run crash that killed a Verdigris girl and seriously injured her friend in early June.
Gage Shriver, 19, of Catoosa faces seven charges including second-degree murder and leaving the scene of a fatality accident. His brother, Dakota Shriver, 21, of Tahlequah faces two charges, second-degree murder and obstructing an officer.
The boy's mother, Dorothea Butanda, 38, of Catoosa is also charged with accessory after the fact and obstructing an officer. Her arrest report says she helped her sons hide evidence and misled investigators.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the brothers were drinking - one driving - and fighting when they hit Noelle New and Miranda Talley as they were walking along the road near Verdigris.
New died and Talley is still recovering from serious injuries.
The three family members were in court Tuesday to face charges. Investigators say Gage was the driver; his brother is charged with murder and police say he was fighting in the car with his brother, tried to hid some evidence and lied to investigators.
Talley's mother was at the courthouse.
