All the recent rain can cause big problems for your yard. Dirt Dude Steve Smith from Southwood Nursery has advice for how to deal with all that water.
Smith said May had only a few days of sun, and that put some stress on plant roots. He said diseases are going to go through the roof in June.
It's time to spray preventative weed killers, put out slug and snail bait - and take up your mulch to help the ground dry out. Now is the time to take action while we have some sunny days in the forecast, Smith said.
