A 23-year-old Henryetta man was found dead of apparent knife wounds on Sunday morning, and police arrested his girlfriend after she met them outside a home covered in blood.
The homicide was first reported by The Henryettan.
Henryetta Police Chief Steve Norman told News On 6 that Jim Anthony Hall was identified as the victim and Samantha Stanisfer, 20, was arrested on a first-degree murder complaint.
Norman said Stanisfer told officers she stabbed and killed Hall, then they found his body in a bedroom of the home on West Dixie.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been called in to help with the investigation and others have been interviewed as police try to piece together what happened.
