The City of Tulsa is settling a lawsuit filed by a man and woman who ran into a police car on its way to an emergency call.

The City of Tulsa is settling a lawsuit filed by a man and woman who ran into a police car on its way to an emergency call.

Officer Adam James went through a red light near Interstate 44 and Memorial in 2010.

Kaylee Grass and Gavin Riggs were both injured when their motorcycle hit the patrol car.

In the $155,000 settlement, the city denies liability and disputes the extent of their injuries.

Officer James was not hurt.

The settlement payments will come from the city sinking fund, which is replenished through property taxes collections.
