Get ready for a soaking rain and a good chance for flooding Saturday evening and Sunday across eastern Oklahoma.
The News On 6 WARN team says rain, heavy at times will fall across the region Saturday evening continuing well into Sunday. There is also a slight chance for severe weather as well.
The National Weather Service says a Flash Flood Watch continues into Monday for the entire eastern half of the state with heavy rains forecast Saturday night and Sunday.
The NWS says three to six inches of rain could fall across northeast Oklahoma by Monday, but some areas could receive much more especially around the Tulsa area.
News On 6 meteorologist Stacia Knight says given the soil is already saturated, flooding will be the major concern Saturday evening into Sunday morning.
