Tulsa Woman Thrown From SUV In Osage County Rollover Crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Tulsa woman is in the hospital after rolling an SUV in Osage County Tuesday afternoon.

Troopers said Maria Fonseca, 44, was headed north on 52nd West Avenue when her 2001 Chevy Suburban went off the road and hit a ditch which caused the SUV to roll, throwing her 60 feet.

The crash happened at 3:40 p.m. about 10 miles south of Skiatook.

The OHP says Fonseca was not wearing her seat belt and had an odor of alcohol. Troopers state Fonseca, who they said suffered multiple internal injuries, was driving at an unsafe speed.
