Police are searching for a man who tied up a Tulsa office worker during an armed robbery attempt Thursday morning.
Officers said the man forced his way inside a small office next door to a check cashing business located in the same building, but left empty-handed.
They said the worker was opening her small office at 51st and Yale just after 8 a.m. when the man wearing a black jacket, jeans and a stocking cap armed with a handgun forced his way inside. Finding no cash, the man tied the worker's hands with some twine before running away.
Police said the worker was not injured.
The man who was 5'09" and medium build was last seen running north on Yale into some nearby apartments.
